K.V.S.C
The Knaresborough Vista Social Club was formed by Jamie and his friend Hamish Harper, to give local artists a chance to expand their current line up on the fly.
Originally hosting a monthly residential gig at Six Poor Folk in Knaresborough in the pre Covid-19 period the K.V.S.C had a revolving line up of local acts, expanded by Jamie, Hamish and others. If you were invited to be hosted at the K.V.S.C a core band will be set up and play around your sound, song choices and requirements so that you as a solo act, or duo can be elevated to a larger band line up, allowing you to push your sound further with the support off others.
as an audience member, no K.V.S.C night was ever the same, the sound changes, the musicians change, the genres and songs performed change, every single event is unique.
Standards were high and not every local act is invited to be hosted at the K.V.S.C, its a showcase of talent, not an open mic.
While Jamie no longer regularly performs with the K.V.S.C due to other engagements, Hamish still continues to fly the flag.
